  I seriously wish there was a zero star rating. My wife took our 9 week old newborn son’s 2 prescriptions in to be filled and was told it would take a couple hours to fill. After waiting 7 hours with no contact from the pharmacy she goes to the store to see if they’re ready. Not only were they not ready but they lost one of the scripts!! Then they had the audacity to insist that she only brought in 1. What’s worse is the one they rushed to fill while she waited was filled with the same milligram and dosage amounts as the Albuterol prescribed for our 6 year old daughter because they input the wrong birthdate. This could’ve been a devastating mistake were it not for my wife’s attention to detail and detailed notes from our kid’s pediatrician. So after witnessing their level of incompetence my wife demanded a refund and requested to have the scripts returned to her to have them filled elsewhere. Instead of giving her the original they gave her a scanned copy of it which prevented her from being able to fill it anywhere else because no pharmacy will accept a copied prescription it must be the original. After hearing all this I had to call CVS’ 800 number to force them to return the original script which I took to the Walgreens in Birmingham and they filled it in minutes. Also they hadn’t applied my CVS CareMark insurance and charged us full price about $20 after taking the same prescription to Walgreens and using the CareMark coverage my copay was only $5. Please avoid this pharmacy at all costs not only is their service terrible but they are negligent and could’ve potentially cost our son his life.
